East Central Florida, including Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort, will be under a Heat Advisory most of Thursday, July 9.
Weather Warnings for July 9

The Heat Advisory will be in effect from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. EDT for Orange and Osceola counties (where the theme parks are located), as well as Indian River, Martin, Saint Lucie, Volusia, Brevard, Lake, Okeechobee, and Seminole counties.
Heat index values — the “feels-like” temperature — will be up to 110°F. Showers and lightning storms are also expected this afternoon and evening.
The National Weather Service suggests guests and residents drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing.

As for the storms, there is a 20% chance of rain for Orlando. Frequent lightning, heavy rainfall, and wind gusts up to 40-55 MPH are expected.
