Jones portrayed Kiume, leader of the elephant section, and sang Scar’s song “Be Prepared.” Jones has also appeared in films like The Punisher (2004), Bad Boys II (2003), and Out of Time (2003).

Festival of the Lion King opened with Disney’s Animal Kingdom on April 22, 1998. Once part of Camp Minnie-Mickey, it is now performed in the Harambe Theater in the park’s Africa section.

Kiume is one of the four human hosts, who performs famous songs from The Lion King alongside life-size puppets of Simba, Pumbaa, an elephant, and a giraffe on parade floats. Timon appears as a walkaround character. As the hosts sing, “Tumble Monkeys,” aerial gymnasts, a fire twirler, and dancers perform.

The show celebrated its 80 millionth guest last year.
