Don’t worry about the sticker shock. This is a huge serving and well worth it. Our reporter is not vegan but didn’t bat an eye at this dish. All the flavors pull together really well. The chili appears to include chickpea, beets, and beans. A smoky spice comes through from the herb sauce.

Once you run out of chili, there’s still potato left, which could use more sour cream and salt. Otherwise, we have no complaints. We’re genuinely impressed with this as a quick-service offering. The fact that it’s vegan is inconsequential.

If you don’t like vegan mystery meat, there’s enough going on here that it shouldn’t bother you. It’s a great lunch option and perfect for drinking around the world being so carb-heavy and placed in the center of World Showcase.

This is now one of our go-to snacks in EPCOT. Our hot tip is to ask for more sour cream and grab a salt/pepper packet.

Plant-based Chili Baked Potato with Watermelon

The potato comes with your choice of side and we got refreshing slices of watermelon. Other sides include fries, onion rings, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, coleslaw, and corn bread.
