The restrooms near Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets have closed for refurbishment at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, with the entire entrance now concealed behind a substantial temporary barrier.
Restroom Closure

Rolling planters have been arranged across the restroom entrance, completely blocking access to park guests. The tall planters are packed closely together and filled with dense greenery, obscuring guest views from any ongoing work.
The scale of the enclosure suggests that the project may involve more than minor maintenance. Disney has not announced the scope of the work or provided an anticipated reopening date, but the comprehensive barricade indicates that these restrooms could remain unavailable for an extended period. As of our latest visit this week, the restrooms have already been closed for several days.

A specially designed directional sign has also been placed near the blocked entrance. The sign reads, “Sorry, folks! Restrooms are closed for refurbishment,” and uses an image of the My Disney Experience map of the surrounding Sunset Boulevard area to guide guests elsewhere.
More specifically, the sign directs guests to the next nearest alternate restrooms, located near the exit of Villains Unfairly Ever After. The graphic includes recognizable illustrations of the Hollywood Tower Hotel and surrounding attractions, along with restroom icons and a “You Are Here” marker.
The production of a location-specific sign is another indication that Disney may expect the closure to last for some time. For brief restroom outages, guests are typically redirected with simpler temporary signage rather than a custom map created specifically for the affected location.

The closed facilities are positioned near the entrance to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets and the neighboring Føød stand and merchandise locations. Guests visiting this section of the park should plan to use facilities elsewhere until the refurbishment is complete.
