Disney Cruise Line might sail out of New York City again soon, although an announcement hasn’t been made.

Is Disney Cruise Line Sailing Out of New York Again?

Cruise NYC recently updated the webpage for the Manhattan Cruise Terminal Schedule to add Disney as an option under “Parent Company.” And under the “Ship” option are Disney Dream, Disney Magic, and Disney Treasure. No scheduled sailings populate on the calendar, but this is a good sign plans are in the works.

Plus, after a Reddit user noticed the schedule system update, the header photo on the schedule page was updated to an old picture that includes the Disney Magic (above).

RUMOR: Disney Cruise Line Might be Returning to New York City

Disney Cruise Line hasn’t sailed out of NYC since the Disney Dream made some Bermuda and Eastern Canada sailings out of the port in fall 2023. Before that, the cruise line only made occasional sailings out of New York and ultimately prioritized their more popular ports, like Port Canaveral in Florida.

Two New York pages can be found on the Disney Cruise Line website. One hasn’t been updated since 2022 but the other tells guests to check for New York sailings. There are none to be found right now but maybe in the near future. New York is not a port listed on the “Find a Cruise” page.

With the Disney Cruise Line fleet expanding, there are more ships to go around, and it makes sense for Disney to visit more ports. While the Magic and Dream have both sailed out of NYC in the past, the Treasure launched in 2024, so this would be a new destination for the new-ish ship.

Disney Cruise Line recently announced an expansion to their relationship with port of call St. Maarten.

Other new Disney Cruise Line ships include the Destiny, currently departing from Fort Lauderdale, and the Adventure, exclusively sailing out of Singapore. The Disney Believe will launch in 2027. It will be followed by another Wish-class ship, then a new class of three smaller ships.
