Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds says there will “eventually” be another film starring the merc with a mouth.

Hobby Nonsense on Instagram shared video of Reynolds talking about the potential of another movie at a Fanatics Fest panel.

“There’s a few really deep cuts that I think are missing from the movies. I think there’s a few deep cuts missing from some of the comics,” Reynolds said. “There’s certainly some stuff that I love that [Deadpool co-creator] Fabian [Nicieza] wrote that is incredible — Gerry Duggan, another friend and incredible comic writer, that we can put in. But then there’s stuff upcoming. There’s eventually, you know, will be another Deadpool film. So it’s going to be great.”

Variety requested comment from Marvel but they did not immediately respond.

Reynolds previously said that while he was working on future Deadpool appearances, he saw the character as supporting.

“I don’t think I am ever going to center him again,” Reynolds said on TODAY Show podcast, Sunday Sitdown with Willie Geist. “He is a supporting character. He is a guy who is great in a group.”

Reynolds has also told The Hollywood Reporter that he would like Deadpool to work with the X-Men and Avengers, but if he officially joined them, that would be the end of his story.

“If he becomes either, we’re at the end,” he said. “Deadpool works so well appearing with the X-Men and Avengers, but he always needs to stay an outsider. His ultimate dream is to be accepted and appreciated. But he can’t be accepted. His coping mechanism of deflecting shame through humor works only when used to pave over his many inadequacies. If and when he does become an Avenger or X-Man, we’re at the end of his journey.”
