At The Art of Disney in Disney Springs today, there was a special Lorcana artist signing event for the new Lorcana release.
Artist Signing
Guests who signed up for a virtual queue were able to meet with Lorcana artist Mike Parker to get their cards signed from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today, July 17. They were also able to receive a free Maleficent Magical Places promo card by visiting World of Disney.
There is a sign near the signing area that gave guests a look into Parker’s work and bio. It read:
Mike Parker is a freelance illutrator from Wyoming currently based in Utah. He has illustrated characters and glimmers from Atlantic, Treasure Planet, Sleeping Beauty, DuckTales, and The Incredibles. Mike joined Ravensburger as a commissioned artist for Disney Lorcana TCG, beginning with Into the Inklands. He is currently featured in “Attack of the Vine!” with the Dash Parr & Violet Parr – Super Siblings legendary card. Whe Mike is not drawing he is teaching in the Animation program at Brigham Young University and spending time with his family.
Parker was set up among artwork in the shop with an enlarged version of one of his Lorcana card designs on either side.
The card on the left was Dash Parr – Super Feet, and the other was the aforementioned Dash Parr & Violet Parr – Super Siblings card.
