Disney’s BoardWalk Resort and other Walt Disney World Resort hotels are once again giving guests with dining reservations paper parking passes.
3-Hour Resort Dining Parking Pass

The parking pass is to be displayed on your vehicle’s dashboard. It shows the date and (usually) the time that it’s valid until.
We received our pass at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort and have also seen them used this week at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort as well. The passes are notable for these resorts, where there are multiple offerings other than dining, not to mention a walkway to EPCOT.
This comes as bus verification is about to become permanent at Disney Springs. Guests will no longer be able to board a resort bus at Disney Springs unless they are a hotel guest or have a dining reservation at a hotel. The same goes for Disney Springs watercraft.
The paper passes are most often used during holidays and other busy times. We received our pass on the evening of Thursday, July 2, going into the busy Fourth of July weekend.
They might become more permanent, however, as Disney tries to control visitor capacity and parking in the future.
