Holiday festivities have begun at Universal Orlando Resort, which means the “Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular” has returned to Seuss Landing at Universal Islands of Adventure. This show tells the story of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” live on stage.
Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular
The show is performed at the former Blue Man Group theater, which guests are able to get to through Seuss Landing.
Show times are 10:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 1:15 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m., and 6:30 p.m.
The backstage gates that lead to the theater are between Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-Pendous and One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. Cast Members open the gates to let guests into the theater about 10 minutes before show time.
We were at the first performance of the season. There was a woman narrator, which we had never seen before.
The show is performed on a detailed Whoville set with a giant Christmas tree in the center.
You might also see some of the Who performers wandering Seuss Landing during the holiday season.
The characters re-enact the events of the original book.
The show is about 30 minutes long.

A Grinch meet and greet is also open at Honk Honkers, with no virtual queue this year so expect a long line. Guests can dine with the Grinch and Whos during the Grinch and Friends Character Breakfast. The character breakfast will be at Confisco Grille this year instead of Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-Pendous, which is closed. The Grinch also appears during Universal’s Holiday Tour.
