Two more pieces of Viking merchandise have joined the Norway Pavilion collection released last month at EPCOT — a shot glass and magnetic bottle opener.
This collection is mostly gray and features images of the pavilion’s Olaf II Haraldsson statue and a red, white, and orange Viking helmet symbol. The merchandise is available in The Fjording.
Norway Pavilion Shot Glass – $9.99
The stoneware shot glass is light gray with a textured exterior and two small horns sticking out of the sides.
On one side is the Viking helmet, depicted with two crossed axes and a shield. “Norway” and “World Showcase” are above the symbol, while “EPCOT” is below.
On the other side is a white Nordic knot design.
Norway Bottle Opener Magnet – $14.99
The bottle opener is silver toned with a magnet on the back.
It features a sculpted version of the helmet symbol at the top, below “Norway” and “World Showcase.” In the center, above the actual opener, is a red medallion featuring Olaf II Haraldsson, who was a king and patron saint of Norway. Behind Olaf II is a Viking ship and a sea monster. “EPCOT,” “Norway,” and “World Showcase” are all printed on the medallion.
Nordic symbols and axes frame the bottom of the bottle opener.
A real statue of Olaf II is outside the Stave Church in the Norway Pavilion. The pavilion is home to the original Frozen Ever After, which replaced Maelstrom in 2016. Anna and Elsa meet guests in the Royal Sommerhus. Guests can meet other Disney Princesses during a character meal at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. Across from the table-service restaurant is the quick-service Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe.
During the 2023 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, guests can enjoy a Storyteller performance about the mischievous Barn Santa.
