D23 Disney Parks Announcement Panel Will Not Be Livestreamed to the Public This Year

In a change from years prior, the Disney Parks announcement panel at the 2024 D23 Ultimate Fan Event will not be livestreamed to the general public. Instead, the livestream will only be available to Cast Members.

The D23 event runs from August 9-11, 2024, and the Parks-centric presentation, Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase, will take place on Saturday, August 10 at 7:00 p.m. PT. Hosted by Chairman Josh D’Amaro, the showcase is colloquially referred to as the “Disney Parks panel” as it was called in the past. It’s one of the most popular parts of the event, as Disney usually makes a host of announcements for theme parks around the world, Disney Cruise Line, and more.

This year, guests who can’t attend the event in Anaheim, California will not be able to watch the presentation in real-time through an official channel.

During prior events, official sources have publicized the announcements shortly after they’re made to the crowds at the event. It’s unclear what the procedure will be this year, but WDWNT will be reporting live from D23.

Check out our predictions for some of the possible announcements.
