The first-ever Skipper’s Adventure tiki mug has arrived at Disneyland Resort. We picked it up via mobile order at the Disneyland Hotel on August 8.
We arrived to pick up our mug on the lawn next to the wedding gazebo at the Disneyland Hotel. There were several tables for guests to pick up their mugs.
There was also a fun photo-op available themed to a Jungle Cruise boat. As there was no bar set up for the mug distribution, we weren’t able to try the Skipper Sipper beverage that will be offered alongside the mug later at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar.
Skipper’s Adventure Tiki Mug – $75
Called the “ninth wonder of the world,” this tiki mug is teal and off-white, with “carvings” inspired by Jungle Cruise. The mug has an edition size of 5,000.
These carvings include elephants, hippos, and other animals that can be spotted on the attraction, as well as a Jungle Cruise boat.
Guests can purchase them via mobile order on the Disneyland App today, August 8, or purchase from Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar tomorrow, August 9 with the non-alcoholic beverage, the Skipper Sipper.
The mug’s pricing does not include the cost of the beverage that will be offered at Trader Sam’s. The mug is both microwave- and dishwasher-safe.
The artist who designed the mug, Mookie Sato, also attended the release today to sign for collectors.
