Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride Dooney & Bourke Collection Races Into Walt Disney World

The newest Dooney & Bourke collection themed to Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride has arrived at Walt Disney World. “The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad” is celebrating its 75th anniversary this October, and merchandise celebrating the animated movie and the theme park attraction is being released.

Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride Dooney & Bourke Tote – $268

A handbag featuring an illustrated scene with cartoon animals driving a car, pursued by sheep and a rabbit running a harmonica is seen on a display counter.

The all-over design is in shades of green and tan as Mr. Toad takes his motorcar on a spin across the countryside. He careens past Mole, Water Rat, and a hitchhiking Weasel. The metal Dooney & Bourke placard is above Mr. Toad.

Illustrated handbag featuring whimsical scenes, including a person in a flying car, sheep, and a person pursuing a rolling barrel through a pastoral landscape.

The back of the bag has the same design as the front.

The bottom of a handbag featuring a cartoon scene with characters, trees, and buildings, displayed indoors with other handbags in the background.

The bag has brown trim and small metal feet on the bottom, so the bag can be set down without falling over and spilling its contents.

Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride Crossbody Bag – $228

A handbag featuring a cartoon print of a horse-drawn car with a dog driver, a burglar, and running sheep. The background depicts trees and a person waving. A store setting is in the background.

The crossbody bag has the same design as the tote, but the brand placard is below the motorcar instead of above.

A purse featuring an animated scene with a horse-drawn carriage, excited characters, and medieval-style buildings in the background.

Unlike the tote, the crossbody features a different design on the other side. Here, a smiling Toad is to the right of Cyril Proudbottom, who is hauling a carriage.

Hand holds a rectangular bag featuring an illustrated scene with cartoon characters, including a policeman and various people. The image depicts a rural setting with the word "STOP" at the top.

On the bottom, townsfolk harried by Mr. Toad’s wild ride in his motorcar are seen up in arms over his behavior.

Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride is based on “The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad,” a two-part animated film consisting of “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” and “The Wind in the Willows.” It was an opening day attraction at the Magic Kingdom that closed to make way for The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh in 1998. It still operates at Disneyland park, where it was also an opening day attraction.
