Disneyland could cost you $200 for a ticket!
Just a week after Hurricane Helene, Hurricane Milton took a more direct route over Central Florida. Because of the monster storm, Universal and Disney canceled events and closed parks ahead of the storm. We’ll take a look at the precautions they took leading up to the event, as well as how quickly they recovered and reopened in the aftermath.
Disneyland is the Happiest Place on Earth, but people aren’t going to be very happy about the latest price increases across the board. While they will once again be selling the Magic Key annual passes, those prices have gone up 6-20%! A regular 1 day ticket could cost you over $200 for the first time, and the paid line-skipping program, Lightning Lane Multi Pass will increase by a base of 7%. Have they finally priced themselves too high for some? When is it enough? We’ll discuss.
On a positive note, the internet blew up last week with the announcement of a fan-favorite parade returning to Disneyland. Paint the Night, which hasn’t been seen since the 2016 holiday season, was teased to return on the Disney Parks Instagram. A confirmed park and return date have not been announced, but with the Main Street Electrical Parade glowing away, it would be great to see this back at DisneylandPark! Could this be back just in time for Disneyland’s 70th?
Also at Disneyland, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is getting closer to its opening date, and Disney has announced previews for Magic Key holders. We’ve also gotten our first look at the new Bayou Country Cast Member costumes and the latest updates on the ride as it nears completion.
There was also some drama when a guest didn’t like the way that the Evil Queen was… evil to them. Usually interacting with the snarky villains is part of the fun, but some guests had beef with the way they were treated. We’ll talk about the experience, and the lack of character attendants on the scene to help diffuse the situation.
We’ll also talk about the final show for Lightning McQueen at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, take a look at the newest Christmas merch that’s started showing up in the parks, give our thoughts on a new $450 Bridal Minnie Ear Headband, and much more!
