The revival cast for the Disney animated series “Phineas and Ferb” has been announced, which includes many returning voice actors from the original series.
‘Phineas and Ferb’ Revival Cast Announced
The revival cast was set to join series co-creators and executive producers Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh onstage during a panel at New York Comic-Con on Thursday, October 17, which will also feature new information about the upcoming show.
The revival features many returning voices from the original cast, including:
- Ashley Tisdale as Candace Flynn
- Vincent Martella as Phineas Flynn
- David Errigo Jr. as Ferb Fletcher (took over in 2020 from original star Thomas Brodie-Sangster)
- Dee Bradley Baker as Perry the Platypus
- Caroline Rhea as Linda Flynn-Fletcher
- Alyson Stoner as Isabella Garcia-Shapiro
Povenmire (left) and Marsh (right) will return to voice Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz and Major Francis Monogram, respectfully. Disney has also teased a guest cast featuring “notable actors, musicians, athletes, and more.”
Returning in 2025 for a new 40-episode season, the series will “follow the inventive stepbrothers as they tackle another 104 days of summer. Candace is more determined than ever to finally bust her little brothers while their pet platypus, Perry, continues to lead a double life as the suave Agent P, whose sole mission is to thwart Dr. Doofenshmirtz from taking over the Tri-State area,” according to Disney.
The original run of “Phineas and Ferb” was produced from 2008 to 2015 and included approximately 126 episodes, along with TV specials and the movies “Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension” (2011) and “Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Candace Against the Universe” (2020).
In addition to the revival cast announcement, Disney has also released a new teaser poster for the series, shown above.
Guests attending Oogie Boogie Bash this year at Disney California Adventure can encounter Dr. Doofenshmirtz himself. Those going to Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios this winter will be able to meet Phineas and Ferb in their holiday best.
