If you are looking to get your “panache” on at the park, you’re in luck. The annual Fall Dapper Day Expo at the Disneyland Resort is almost here. On November 3rd and 4th, the Disneyland Hotel will host this fan favorite event that celebrates everything from vintage-inspired to contemporary stylish clothing as well as “whimsically-chic” accessories.
The Event
The Dapper Day Expo invites you to dress to impress while perusing vintage clothing, accessories, beauty products and much more.
If you enjoy putting on your dancing shoes, you’ll have the chance to cut a rug to live music like the The San Andreas Sisters (Saturday, 2PM & 5PM) and Jennifer Keith (Sunday, 1PM & 5PM).
If reading is more your thing, they have you covered. You’ll have the opportunity to meet authors Charles Phoenix, who will be signing his new book, “Addicted to Americana,” (Sunday, 12PM to 2PM) as well as Chris Nichols and his Taschen book, “Walt Disney’s Disneyland,” (Sunday, 2PM to 4PM).
When you’re ready to take a break from all the shopping and dancing to visit the parks, that’s no problem. A free expo shuttle will whisk guests between the Disneyland Hotel Exhibit Hall and the entrance of Disneyland Park. There, you can take part in the long standing Dapper Day tradition of experiencing two of the original 1955 Disneyland Park Attractions while dressed to impress; a mid-afternoon cruise on the Mark Twain Riverboat, and a sunset gallop on the King Arthur Carousel. However, to avoid crowding, they do not set up a specific meet-up time.
Tickets & Discounted Hotel Rates
The Dapper Day Expo hours are Saturday from 12PM to 7PM and Sunday, from 10AM to 7PM. Tickets are $10 and are valid for both days of the event. They can be purchase online at DapperDay.com. (Note: separate passes are required for entrance to the Disneyland parks and are not included in the Expo price).
If you want to stay close to all the fun and activities, you can find special, discounted rates at the three Disneyland Resort Hotels’ by calling Disney Group Reservations at 714-520-5005, Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM by requesting the “Dapper Day Group Rate”. You can also book your stay online. But hurry because the discounted rates are going quickly.
