Magic Key holders can take advantage of an exclusive souvenir pin giveaway and photo op happening now at the Disneyland Resort.
Magic Key Souvenir Pin Giveaway & Photo Op
According to the official Disneyland website, now through January 13, Magic Key holders can take home a special souvenir pin featuring beloved Disney characters. A special limited-time photo op with Disney characters is also available.
The location for the passholder-exclusive offering is at Starcade, near The Star Trader, in Tomorrowland, and is available daily from 2 p.m. – 7 p.m.
To take part in the limited-time offering, passholders must check in with a Cast Member to join a mobile waitlist. After check-in, passholders are then to be added to the waitlist to receive a text with a return time.
Passholders will receive a text letting them know they are now in the queue. A second text will be sent when it’s time to return to Starcade to receive the souvenir pin giveaway.
The interior space features photo-op spaces and a door with a Magic Key holder logo projection.
A backdrop of multi-colored blocks with the Disneyland Resort logo and Magic Key logo serves as one photo op space.
Character meet and greets were also available and characters will swap out intermittently. During our time here we saw Minnie, Mickey, and Pluto.
We of course also picked up our souvenir pin goodie bag. Included with the goodie bag was a souvenir pin, lanyard, and small bag of M&Ms.
The goodie bags come with one of six available pins with a limit of one pin per Magic Key holder. The pins we received were one featuring Minnie hugging Daisy and the other of Mickey hugging Pluto.
The lanyard is white with a repetitive pattern of the Disneyland and Magic Key logos.
There was also a card included with the goodie bag that explained the process of pin trading at Disneyland with a QR code that passholders can scan to learn more.
A Magic Key holder must present a valid Magic Key pass to participate in the giveaway. Both a park reservation and valid admission are required for park entry.
