The new outdoor seating area for Chicken Guy at Disney Springs is officially complete. We reported on the seating area opening in December but final touches have been added in the month since.
Chicken Guy Outdoor Seating
Chicken Guy previously offered outdoor seating with umbrellas but there is now a permanent overhang jutting out of the building over chairs and tables. Since our last update, rolling planters have been removed from the area. The stanchions on the right are for the queue.
The overhang has black supports and a white ceiling. One of the black ceiling fans we noted in our last update has been replaced by a gray one. But the other black ceiling fan remains.
The white ceiling looks like corrugated panels but, judging by their appearance in our last update, they are actually long strips that can be turned to let in sunlight. Pictured above, they are turned to be flat, blocking rain.
There are lights built into the black supports running across the ceiling. Red accent lights are hidden above the black supports, adding an atmospheric glow.
The overhang covers the front and back doors of Chicken Guy. Construction began back in April 2024 and the restaurant remained open during work.
The outdoor seating continues behind a planter, in front of the back door. There is also limited seating inside.
