Crews have been working on refurbishing the walkways around the marina for a few months now. Green barriers currently block the walkway that runs between the water and the Great Ceremonial House. This walkway continues past the Lava Pool and connects to the ferryboat dock.

Right behind the green barriers, the sidewalk has been ripped up running all the way down to where the water opens up more. There is a path of plywood for crew members. Some construction equipment sits at the bottom of the nearby stairs, which are also blocked off.

A yellow floating barrier in the water prevents construction debris from floating away. The net of the fence separating the walkway and the dock is rolled up. There were some crew members working further down the path, near the pool.

The ferryboat is still available, guests just have to take a different path. An A-frame sign directs guests to the transportation.
