Changes are coming to the concierge lounges at Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, bringing a new lounge to the former, and a second lounge to the latter.
New Concierge Lounge Coming to Disneyland Hotel
This summer, Disneyland Hotel will open the all-new concierge lounge, High Key Club, replacing the E-Ticket Club. The new space will celebrate “the music and sounds of Disneyland Park circa 1955,” as well as pay homage to the mid-century modern design aesthetic of the era.
The lounge will “draw inspiration from the enduring legacy of original and classic sounds at Disneyland Park” with a custom soundtrack featuring the sounds and songs of the park. Prominent artifacts will also be on display.
The High Key Club will nearly double the space of the E-Ticket Club, located in the Adventure Tower at Disneyland Hotel, and will be where concierge-level guests can watch Disneyland Park fireworks and enjoy music from the show on nights that feature pyrotechnics.
Second Club-Level Lounge Coming to Grand Californian
Plans are also underway for a second club-level lounge to be added at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, joining The Veranda concierge lounge.
The two-story space will celebrate classic California Craftsman design and continue the hotel’s forest theme seen in the Great Hall lobby. The lounge will take inspiration from giant sequoias and will be located “high in the ‘treetops’ of the 5th and 6th floors” in an “aviary.”
The columns and arches in the space will be inspired by the existing lobby architecture, with wrought iron branching details and hand-crafted tile murals. The flora and fauna on display will also keep with the story of the sequoias.
The lounge will be filled with natural light during the day, and golden warmth at sunset thanks to expansive skylights, with a two-story stained-glass door and a curved staircase that leads to the mezzanine.
The new lounge is set to be completed in 2026.
These lounges join the Creators Club concierge lounge at Pixar Place Hotel, which opened to guests in 2024 and showcases the collaborative efforts between Walt Disney Imagineering and Pixar Animation Studios. In the lounge, club-level guests can enjoy seeing concept art, maquettes, attraction posters, and more decor.
At all three hotels, concierge-level guests can visit these lounges to enjoy snacks and beverages throughout the day, as well as utilize a dedicated concierge for any issues that arise during their trip.
