Update (3/10/2025 9:35 a.m.) : The Tornado Warning has been extended until 10:00 a.m.
The National Weather Service in Melbourne, Florida issued a tornado warning near Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort for Monday, March 10, 2025.

The tornado warning was originally issued at 8:35 a.m. and in effect until 9 a.m. It was extended to 9:30 a.m. It covers southwestern Lake County and northwestern Orange County.
A tornado warning means a tornado was detected. As of writing, the severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was near Clermont or Ferndale moving northeast at 35 mph. People are advised to take shelter. Flying debris could be dangerous.
The wind advisory is in effect from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET on Monday, March 10, 2025. It covers Indian River, Martin, Saint Lucie, Volusia, Brevard, Lake, Okeechobee, Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties.
Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort are in Orange and Osceola counties.
Residents and guests can expect southwest winds 15 to 20 mph with guests up to 35 mph. Winds this strong can make driving difficult.
