Magic Key Holders are invited to pick up a special Paint the Night keepsake for a limited time in honor of Disneyland Resort’s 70th Anniversary Celebration.
Paint the Night Poster
From May 27 to June 2, 2025, Magic Key holders can stop by the Hyperion Theater Courtyard for a Magic Key 70th Celebration event! Enjoy themed photo ops and a special photo booth with complimentary prints. Magic Key holders can also receive a Paint the Night parade poster as a souvenir, while supplies last. Offer may be limited in availability.
The print was created by Hayden Evans. On X, he announced the collaboration and says he is “delighted to share the “Paint the Night” poster I was asked to create for Disneyland’s Magic Key Holders to celebrate the colorful and electric return of this iconic parade!”
Magic Key Event Details
- Location: Hyperion Theater Courtyard in Hollywood Land, Disney California Adventure Park
- Dates: May 27 to June 2, 2025
- Times:
- Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM
- Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM
An eligible, active Magic Key pass is required to participate. Limit of one keepsake per Magic Key holder, while supplies last.
Park Reservations and Virtual Queue Required
A virtual queue will be in place for the Magic Key 70th Celebration event; Magic Key holders will need to join the virtual queue in the Disneyland app.
Magic Key holders with a Disney California Adventure or Disneyland Park reservation will have the opportunity to join the 7:00 AM virtual queue for that day.
How to Join the Virtual Queue
- In the Disneyland app, tap the ≡ menu at the bottom of your screen, then select “Virtual Queues”
- Join the virtual queue for the Magic Key 70th Celebration Event
You’ll receive a push notification when your boarding group is called with the designated return window for you to check in at the Hyperion Theater Courtyard.

Other Magic Key Exclusive 70th Offerings
First revealed on the Disneyland Magic Key Instagram account, @disneylandmagickey, the resort is now selling a new Magic Key Insulated Cooler Bag. The cooler bags are available at select locations in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure. The item is currently limited to one cooler bag per Magic Key holder per transaction. Discounts do not apply, and purchasers must present their Magic Key Pass at the time of purchase.
Magic Key specific merchandise will also be available including a Magic Key-exclusive Lug bag and Magic Key pin, as well as an ear hat, ear headband, and Spirit Jersey. The image in the Magic Key portal in the Disneyland app shows a Mickey Mouse t-shirt and a water bottle. A pre-sale of select 70th anniversary merchandise items occurred on May 9, 2025.
The Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration officially kicks off on May 16 and runs through the summer of 2026.
