Disney removed the Princess Aurora statue in April of this year. Like Cinderella, who was refurbished in late 2024, Aurora was missing for about two months.

The statue is back, clean and featuring a fresh coat of paint. Compare our photo from December of last year to June 19, the day we saw Aurora back in her spot. Her dress is a much more vivid pink with darker shading.

Aurora’s features are clear. The statue has a matte finish, so it’s not as shiny as it used to be.

Her hands are almost too smooth, but they’re certainly cleaner than they used to be.

Cinderella and Aurora stand guard at the southwest entrance of World of Disney in Disney Springs. The shop offers a wide variety of Walt Disney World merchandise. It’s open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. most days.
