Disney confirmed the return of annual holiday entertainment and offerings at Magic Kingdom this year.
Holidays at Magic Kingdom
Cinderella Castle will be illuminated with holiday projections and Main Street, U.S.A. will be decorated with wreaths and lights. Of course, the park’s Christmas tree will also return to Town Square. Disney PhotoPass photographers will be on hand at these locations, as usual, to take holiday photos.
“Frozen Holiday Surprise”
The nightly “Frozen” stage show will return with Olaf and over 100 snowgies decorating Cinderella Castle. Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff join the snowman and Elsa transforms the castle into a crystallized palace. In 2024, the show returned to Magic Kingdom on November 5.

“Disney Starlight” Parade
The new “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” parade debuts on July 20. Disney confirmed it will continue through the holiday season but won’t perform on Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party nights.

Jingle Cruise
The Jingle Cruise holiday overlay of Jungle Cruise is back with holiday-themed puns and decorations, including throughout the queue. No dates for its closure to transform for the holiday overlay have been announced just yet.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
Disney has not announced the dates and details of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, only that it is returning for the 2025 season. The Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party webpage lists some of the party’s standard entertainment as 2024 offerings — not 2025. These include attraction overlays, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show, Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration, character meet and greets, dance parties, and complimentary food and beverage. We do expect these offerings to return.
