In a post on Instagram, The Walt Disney Family Museum has announced that Lillian Disney has received a Main Street, U.S.A. window dedicated to her honor.
Lilly’s Bountiful Blooms

Lilian’s new window display is located next to the Disney Showcase shop on Main Street, U.S.A., just a few doors down from the upcoming location of “Walt Disney – A Magical Life,” which opens in just a few short days. This is a fitting pairing as today is the couple’s 100th wedding anniversary.

The window display advertises for a store called “Lilly’s Bountiful Blooms.” Just below the marquee is a bouquet of flowers with “Flowers and Fancies” written across scrollwork. Many more bouquets and planters of flowers surround the window’s balcony.
Other details added to the balcony in front of the window include a painting of the Main Street Firehouse, where Disney’s in-park apartment was located. A plush of Mickey is also positioned in one of the white chairs as a nod to Lillian’s urging of Walt to change the character’s name from Mortimer Mouse. A violin, a music stand, and a bird cage can also be seen on the left side of the balcony.
The Walt Disney Family Museum has this to say about the honor:
We are delighted to share a new window on Main Street, U.S.A. honoring Lillian Disney and her contributions to Disneyland. The window was unveiled in a private ceremony on July 13, 2025—Walt and Lillian Disney’s 100th wedding anniversary. One of the highest honors at The Walt Disney Company, the tradition of honoring individuals with a personalized decorative window on Main Street, U.S.A. was started by Walt Disney and continues today at Disney Parks worldwide.

Walt and Lillian married on July 13, 1925, and remained together until Walt’s death in 1966. The pair had two daughters, Diane and Sharon. Over the course of their life together, there is no doubt that Lillian truly did help Walt dream up his visions and with “inspiring worlds of color and happiness,” as the window suggests.
Disneyland Park will celebrate its 70th anniversary this week on July 17.
