Test Track in EPCOT is currently preparing for its official reopening on July 22 with a series of guest previews. Cast Members had a preview of the reimagined attraction in early June, followed by a limited soft opening on July 11. Disney Vacation Club previews took place on July 12, with previews for annual passholders taking place from July 13-19, excluding July 17.

For the annual passholder Test Track preview, the original rules stated that interested guests must join a virtual queue. Virtual queue enrollment is available at 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. on each preview day, and there has been no standby line. The initial drop is available to just passholders who have a park reservation for EPCOT, but the second drop is available to all passholders.

According to some recent reports from guests in EPCOT, Disney has quietly changed the rules for the annual passholder previews taking place on July 18. As of this afternoon, annual passholders are allowed to walk up and join the Test Track line without previously registering in the virtual queue, so long as they present their passholder information. However, the preview is still only limited to annual passholders, not all guests.

Disney did not make any official announcement about the extra Test Track preview availability, so it is possible the line was just shorter than anticipated. There is also no confirmation on whether this rule will stay in place through the remaining annual passholder preview day, or if the virtual queue-only rules will return as normal on July 19.

This is not the first time Disney changed the rules for who was allowed to ride Test Track as part of a preview. During the previous round of Disney Vacation Club previews, guests were originally required to have a qualifying Disney Resort hotel reservation. However, the rule was later changed to allow all nearby DVC members to attend.
