BREAKING: Disney Starlight Parade Magic Kingdom Park Reservation Restrictions Lifted for Annual Passholders

Walt Disney World has ended Magic Kingdom park pass reservation restrictions that were put in place for Annual Passholders ahead of the debut of the Disney Starlight parade.

As of Monday, July 28, the restriction is no longer in place, and Annual Passholders can go back to observing the previous policy, in which they can visit the Walt Disney World theme parks without a reservation on a good-to-go day or after 2 p.m. (with the exception of Saturdays and Sundays for Magic Kingdom).

Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away made its debut on July 20, following two days of soft opening performances. The restriction was announced in May 2025 and was in place for just one week. While active, the restriction required Annual Passholders to hold a theme park reservation to visit Magic Kingdom at any time of day on any day, including after 2 p.m. Passholders were still able to visit the other three Walt Disney World theme parks after 2 p.m. without a reservation. Park hopping privileges did not change, however, and guests could still go to Magic Kingdom after tapping into their reserved theme park for the day (subject to capacity limitations).

Annual Passholder reservations for Magic Kingdom were fully booked for the two days following the premiere of the Disney Starlight parade.

Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away is the first year-round nighttime parade at Magic Kingdom in almost a decade, since the Main Street Electrical Parade ended its run in 2016.
