Disney released a fun video featuring three “Party Pumpkins” ahead of the start of tonight’s first 2025 Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.
Puppet Party Pumpkins at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party
The short clip promoting Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party starts with a pan down a smoke-filled Main Street, U.S.A., before focusing on animated versions of the Jack-o’-Lanterns that line the buildings.

A small Jack-o’-Lantern puppet with pumpkin ears is scream-singing “Boo! Boo! Boo!,” and cannot contain their excitement for the first Halloween party of the year.
The larger of the Jack-o’-Lantern puppets, Gourdo, then explains that he gets the excitement with all the costumes, ghosts, gravediggers, and jams. However, he does wish the little guy would simmer down.

They continue discussing the party and all the offerings before a snowman Jack-o’-Lantern puppet asks about the snowfall. Gourdo then explains that would be the “wrong party, Slushie.” Instead, they’re partying “Gourdo Style” at Mickey’s Not So Scary.

Disney Parks also posted a longer version of the video on their YouTube channel, which details all of the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party offerings.
The event begins tonight, Friday, August 15, and runs on select nights through October 31.
WDWNT got a first look at the party map prior to the start of the event, which showcases Mickey and Minnie in their Halloween costumes that first debuted last year. Guests attending the party will be able to meet the pair together. Event merchandise, entertainment offerings, and more activities mentioned in the video are also previewed in the new map.
