The Pixar Place Hotel entrance to Disney California Adventure will close next year.
Pixar Place Hotel Park Entrance Closing
The entrance will be unavailable beginning on January 5, 2026. Pixar Place Hotel guests can instead use the entrance located inside Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa — or, of course, the main entrance.
The closure comes just weeks after Disney installed brand new gates at the Pixar Place Hotel entrance. The entrance opened in 2022, when the hotel was still Paradise Pier Hotel, but permanent gates weren’t installed until this summer. Previously, a Cast Member with a ticketing cart and scanner facilitated entry. It’s located between Corn Dog Castle and Seaside Souvenirs in Paradise Gardens Park.
Disney said of the change, “Our business strategy continues to be guided by optimizing the guest experience while also considering demand, popularity and interest.” It seems the entrance was not used enough to justify keeping it open.
The entrance closure coincides with the end of early park entry for resort hotel guests.
