An updated guide map of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, intended to be released tomorrow after the closure of Star Wars Launch Bay and the Disney Jr. theater, has accidentally been released early at Walt Disney World.
Updated Disney’s Hollywood Studios Map

The map for Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been updated several times lately, with the most recent version of the map having removed Muppets Courtyard in June. Interestingly, that version of the map was also accidentally released a day early.
The new map has a cover picture of a guest pointing a Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar up toward our favorite dinosaur, Gertie. The picture is angled so it looks like she is feeding the green dino a tasty snack.

Inside, the first layer of folds has the usual park rules, transportation guide, and featured locations in the park.

The interesting aspect of this map is the park itself, which already looks a little different. This map now has a much shorter area for Animation Courtyard, with the buildings for the Star Wars Launch Bay and the Disney Jr. theater, which had recently been home to Disney Jr. Play and Dance!, missing from the image. Both of these locations are still open tonight, but will be closed starting tomorrow, September 25.
The Animation Courtyard will be reimagined into the Walt Disney Studios lot, inspired by the real studio lot in Burbank, California.

In the updated image, the street leading down Animation Courtyard now stops shortly after The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure. Once these locations actually close tomorrow, we expect some construction walls will block guest access to the end of the walkway.

The map numbers have also been updated to reflect the change. The numbers 50 and 51 have now been shifted over to the Market and Joffrey’s dining locations, while the subsequent locations have also had their numbers shifted to match.

We found this map accidentally released early at Disney’s Pop Century Resort. The maps found inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios still correctly show the full Animation Courtyard prior to the impending closures.
