New Darth Vader, Disney Visa Meet and Greet Locations at Disney's Hollywood Studios

New Darth Vader and Disney Visa Cardmember meet and greet experiences have opened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the wake of the Star Wars: Launch Bay closure.

Darth Vader appearance times at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, starting at 9:00 AM, with listings throughout the day.

Guests can now meet Darth Vader at Star Tours – The Adventures Continue. Times are available in the My Disney Experience app. He is scheduled to meet periodically from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Darth Vader meet and greet is in the rarely-used extended queue of Star Tours, in the shade of the Endor set near Tatooine Traders.

Disney Visa Cardmember Character Meet and Greet

Darth Vader was also the park’s exclusive Disney Visa Cardmember character experience. Now, Disney Visa Cardmembers can meet Olaf at Celebrity Spotlight from 9 a.m. to noon. This is the same location as Olaf’s standard meet and greet, but Disney Visa Cardmembers can enjoy shorter wait times. Guests must present a valid Disney Visa Card for entry.

Last Look at Star Wars: Launch Bay

September 24, 2025, was the last day of operation for Star Wars: Launch Bay. It will become a new version of The Magic of Disney Animation, the opening-day Disney’s Hollywood Studios attraction that Launch Bay replaced. Animation Courtyard will also be reimagined into the Walt Disney Studios lot and a new Disney Jr. show will debut. All the new experiences are set to open in 2026.
