Universal Fan Fest Nights is coming back to Universal Studios Hollywood! The after-hours event that began last year to celebrate fandoms will return—with the One Piece water stunt show, a new Hippogriff search through the Forbidden Forest, and more.
Fan Fest Nights 2026
Fans of all kinds will gather together for Universal Fan Fest Nights on 12 select nights from April 23 to May 16, 2026. It’s an after hours, separately-ticketed event that begins at 7:30 p.m.
Celebrated fandoms for 2026 will include:
- Scooby-Doo x Universal Monsters: Help Scooby and the gang solve the case when the Universal Studios Backlot is taken over by a horde of Universal Monsters such as Frankenstein, Dracula, and the Wolf Man.
- Enjoy some Scooby Snacks
- ONE PIECE: Take to the high seas once again with Luffy and the Straw Hat Crew as they embark on a new adventure with the ONE PIECE: Grand Pirate Show. This WaterWorld show was inspired by the production at Universal Studios Japan.
- Indulge in One Piece-inspired dishes
- The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Experience a new adventure through the Forbidden Forest with new spells, surprises, and magical creatures. You’ll meander the forest looking for a lost Hippogriff and encounter other challenges and beasts along the way.
- Have a meal at the Three Broomsticks and down a Butterbeer
- Dungeons & Dragons: See D&D come to life as you experience the wonders of Faerûn and Waterdeep. You’ll join the Harpers as they endeavor to defeat Xanathar. Xanathar was created by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.
- Grab a drink, like the Eldritch Blast, at The First Roll Tavern
- SUPER NINTENDO WORLD: This area will burst into a colorful celebration with all kinds of different Yoshis out exploring the Mushroom Kingdom.
- Sip some Yoshi-themed beverages at the Toadstool Café
Scooby Doo and Universal Monsters are new for this year. Last year featured Star Trek and Back to the Future. Universal indicated more fandoms will be announced later.
Guests at this event will be able to be fully immersed in the universes of some of their favorite characters. You can dine on specialty themed food and drinks, enjoy themed merchandise, and even dress up to fit into the story yourself (within park costume guidelines).

Not all rides will be available during the event. However, a handful will be open for guests to experience.

- Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge
- Despicable Me Minion Mayhem

Tickets
Tickets for Fan Fest Nights are available online—purchasing online saves guests up to $35. Pass Members receive special online pricing as well for general admission. Event tickets do not provide early event access or daytime admission. Ticket prices start at $74.
- $74: April 23; May 3, 7, 14
- $79: April 24; May 1, 8, 15
- $84: April 25; May 2, 9, 16
Universal Fan Fest Nights Universal Express
Universal Express is also available for this after-hours event. The tickets start at $144 per person and include admission as well as a one-time (per day) express access to each experience, ride, and attraction for the event. It does not, however, allow for early event access.
Universal Fan Fest Nights Universal Express Unlimited
Starting at $174 per person, guests can also purchase an Express Unlimited ticket for this event. This gets them into Universal Fan Fest and allows unlimited express access (per day) to each in-world experience. Like the other Express ticket, this does not allow early entry or daytime entry to the park.
