Early Park Admission Changes for Epic Universe Coming in February

In an update to the Early Park Admission policies for Epic Universe, guests will soon be able to experience select attractions in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic and How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk up to one hour before park opening.

Early Entry Attractions

Through the end of January, the following attractions will continue to be available for guests with Early Park Admission at Epic Universe:

  • Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge
  • Yoshi’s Adventure
  • Stardust Racers
  • Constellation Carousel
  • Monsters Unchained
  • Curse of the Werewolf

Early Park Admission is a benefit at Universal Orlando Resort that allows guests of select hotels and specific groups to visit the theme parks up to one hour prior to each park’s official opening time. Universal first confirmed that its newest park, Epic Universe, would be open for Early Park Admission while it was still undergoing previews.

However, when early admission at Epic Universe was first announced, the only confirmed attractions included Stardust Racers and the three rides located within Super Nintendo World. Constellation Carousel was also added to this list a little while later.

Shortly after the official park opening, both Dark Universe attractions were added to Early Park Admission.

Now, a significant change is planned for Early Park Admission for the month of February. Beginning February 1, select attractions will be available in the following portals:

  • The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic
  • Super Nintendo World
  • How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk

Written this way, all attractions in each portal may or may not be open during Early Park Admission. We do not know if this is a permanent change or if Universal is testing a new strategy for Epic Universe.
