Nightfall Glow Electrical Parade Will Be Retired Soon

Nightfall Glow, a rainy day nighttime parade at Tokyo Disneyland, will come to an end this year. The parade will be retired after Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

Nightfall Glow at Tokyo Disneyland

Nightfall Glow is a mini parade only performed when Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade Dreamlights is canceled due to rainy weather. So although it will not perform after March 31, its impossible to know when its actual final performance will be.

Nightfall Glow debuted in May 2011 as a temporary replacement for Dreamlights, which was going through refurbishment. Dreamlights returned in July and Nightfall Glow shifted to rainy day performances. It replaced Rainy Night Fun, another mini parade designed for bad weather.

In September 2020, following the COVID-19 shutdown, Nightfall Glow returned as the daily parade. It performed through October 2021, when Dreamlights returned.

Nightfall Glow has four light-up, color-changing floats. Featured characters include the three good fairies from Sleeping Beauty, Mickey and Friends, and Disney Princesses.

We don’t know if or when a new rainy day parade will be introduced.
