Fyre Drill in the Isle of Berk portal of Epic Universe is closing for a brief refurbishment in February. It’s the first refurbishment for the park.

Fyre Drill Refurbishment

Fyre Drill is listed as temporarily closed from February 1 through 7, 2026. This marks one of the first official ride refurbishments at Epic Universe, about eight months after the official opening.

This is not the only change coming to Epic Universe in February, as early park admission will also undergo a few changes. We also spotted concrete added to the peninsula where fireworks can be launched.
