Advertisements for theme parks aren’t new; they’re a common occurrence. What is less common, however, is an ad that gets fans really talking online and rallying around the messaging, which is the case for a new ad from Universal Orlando Resort.

What fans are clamoring about with this new advertisement is its messaging. It doesn’t open with a montage of theme park footage. Instead, it begins with a series of scenes of folks heading out on a roadtrip—seemingly to Universal Orlando Resort. The words “Whoever you are” and “Wherever you’re from,” respectively, pop up on the screen. It then launches into scenes of an exciting theme park vacation that “changes you.”
Redditor TharinWhite called it a “masterclass in storytelling.” While Redditor GetReadyToRumbleBar focused on the details of the roadtrippers at the start of the ad: “I especially appreciate the details of the less than stellar, old car with friends road tripping to save money. Universal/Orlando isn’t just for the wealthy. The families and siblings reconnecting and bonding together, with phones or tablets in the way.”
X users were chiming in too. @thatspookymf_ said, “kicking my feet watching this. smiled the whole way through. GOD i love Universal SO SO SO much. 💙.” And these users aren’t alone; many fans have expressed a connection to this ad, which made fans feel seen.
