Magic Kingdom has two new breakfast offerings, if cupcakes are your idea of breakfast. New to the Main Street Confectionery are the Cereal Milk Cupcake and Chocolate Espresso Cupcake.

We didn’t expect this to be our favorite of the two, but it is genuinely tasty. It’s a fruity cereal-flavored cupcake with buttercream, dark chocolate Mickey ears, and mini M&Ms. The fruity cereal taste mixed with the buttercream makes it interesting and delicious.

This is definitely something fun to try. We wish they had ground down the M&Ms into a powder because they are a harsh crunch against the otherwise soft, melt-in-your-mouth cupcake.

Chocolate Espresso Cupcake – $6.99

REVIEW: Cereal Milk and Chocolate Espresso Cupcakes Offer a Unique Breakfast at Walt Disney World

This is a chocolate cupcake with espresso-flavored buttercream, dark chocolate ears, and dark chocolate chunks. We love chocolate (who doesn’t?) so we thought this would be a home run. But it’s too much dark chocolate.

The espresso buttercream isn’t overly powerful and does pair well with the chocolate cupcake. It’s just too heavy and thick for a park day. Not terrible but not our first choice.
