Fyre Drill Refurbishment Extended by Another Week at Universal Epic Universe

The refurbishment of Fyre Drill, a How to Train Your Dragon water ride at Epic Universe, has been extended from one week to two. The ride’s closure began on February 1.

It was originally set to reopen on February 8 but the Universal Orlando Resort calendar now states it will be closed through February 13, so it will reopen to guests on February 14.

It’s normal for water rides to close in the winter for maintenance. This is the first winter season for Epic Universe, which is still not operating at full capacity.
