Work Continues at Fantasyland Theatre for Bluey Stage Show at Disneyland

The Fantasyland Theatre has been closed to make way for a new stage show based on Bluey, and work continues in the area. The production, titled Bluey’s Best Day Ever!, will run throughout the year at Disneyland Park.

Fantasyland Theatre Work

The Fantasyland Theatre has been closed to make way for a new stage show based on the Disney+ series Bluey, and work continues in the area.

Holiday Fun with Santa & Friends ended late last year to make way for the Bluey stage show. Temporary walls surround the theatre to block the area off.

Inside the theatre, we spotted crews working on the stage area, which is covered in brown paper. Larger pieces of machinery were nearby, along with rolling cars and tools.

Although we can’t be sure what exactly they were doing, a posted sign did state that hard hats are required. We don’t see any thematic elements in the area yet.

Bluey’s Best Day Ever!

Beginning March 22, 2026, and continuing through the year, “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” will transform the Fantasyland Theatre into the grounds of Bluey’s school, where guests can join the fun of Bluey’s best day ever.

Throughout the day, Bluey and her sister Bingo will appear live on stage, joining a troupe of comedic actors and musicians. Guests can step into the fair at Bluey’s school with the Grannies, Chattermax, Unicorse and delight in themed fave foods at Troubadour Tavern.

Bluey in Disneyland Commercial

Bluey recently appeared in a new Disneyland Resort commercial which premiered during the 2025 Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade special on ABC. The spot features a mom and daughter, who’s holding a Bluey plush, going to meet Bluey and Bingo:

Bluey is also coming to Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Line.
