Starting on that date, all purchases inside Volcano Bay can only be made with credit or debit card, Universal Pay, Universal Gift Cards, and other tap-to-pay methods.

Guests who bring cash must use Cash-to-Card Kiosks to load their money onto a Visa Prepaid card, which can be used inside the park and anywhere major credit or debit cards are accepted.

Last year, Volcano Bay ended their TapuTapu wearable devices and virtual lines. The water park will close for seasonal maintenance on October 26, 2026, and will reopen on or before March 24, 2027.
