Mother and Daughter Pour Drinks on Each Other and Fight Over Missing Credit Card at Magic Kingdom

An adult daughter and her elderly mother dumped drinks on each other and physically fought each other in front of their two young family members at the Magic Kingdom this summer, according to newly released records.

The Orange County Sheriff’s report details the arrest as family tensions run high at the world’s busiest theme park.

The problems began when the 35-year-old woman realized she lost her credit card at the park in July. It took the sheriff’s office months to release the arrest report which is why WDWNT is writing about it now.

The daughter had just bought a cold drink, so her 68-year-old mother urged her to go back to the shop where she purchased it to look for the missing card.

The daughter couldn’t find it and returned upset.

The daughter admitted to authorities she was yelling and felt anxious.

“Take it easy,” the mother told her.

That only set the daughter off and irritated her more.

The mother and daughter began getting into an argument in front of a 6-year-old and a 7-year-old.

The daughter poured her drink on her mom and then pushed her, the Orange County Sheriff’s report said.

The mom dumped her cup of water on her daughter “in an attempt to get her back away,” the mom told authorities, according to the sheriff’s report.

Then the mom reported her daughter slapped and punched her, so the mom struck her back.
People saw what happened and separated the mother and daughter.

When the police interviewed the daughter, the daughter admitted that “she snapped on” her mother. After they both poured drinks on each other, the daughter said she “got physical” with her mom and “slapped her in the face and hit her a couple times.” But the daughter also said her own mom struck her “a couple of times before being separated,” the arrest report said.
Neither the mom nor the daughter was hurt in the fight.

The sheriff’s office determined the daughter was the main aggressor. She was arrested for battery domestic violence and battery on a person 65 years or older then taken to Orange County Jail.

Since children were present, authorities contacted the Department of Children and Families.
According to online court records, the daughter does not appear to have been charged with a crime in Orange Circuit Court, so WDWNT is not naming her.

When contacted by WDWNT, the state attorney’s office said they have no records on the daughter’s arrest.
