Spring is upon us, and with spring, comes the annual Grand Floridian Easter Egg display! For the past several years, right around Easter, the lobby of the Grand Floridian Resort has been home to an ever-growing display of chocolate egg sculptures. Let’s see what they came up with this year!

Several of these are hold overs from previous years. Between the old and the new, we counted over 40 eggs!

The displays are divided up into three main tables this year.

The classic art painted on this egg is amazing.

A giant pearl egg. I can’t tell what parts of this are edible. It looks too real!

The Nightmare Before Christmas, as many forget, does have a scene with the Easter Bunny in it. Well done!

This one just makes me miss the Great Movie Ride.

This Tangled egg is gorgeous and I wish it wasn’t tucked away in the back.

floridianeggs2019 16

I’m assuming this one was in reference to Beauty and the Beast.

Sugar Rush! A chocolate egg on top of a cupcake… don’t give them ideas or I’ll be reviewing an actual cupcake like this some day!

If I had a magic lamp, one of my wishes would probably be for a giant chocolate egg.

The back side of this egg is the best. It has the ofrenda from “Coco.”

Last but not least, this one has three lovely paintings and has to be seen from all sides to appreciate it.

Great work again, as usual! If you’re near the Grand Floridian, head on over to take a gander. The eggs will be on display until April 28th, 2019.
