At the beginning of this year, Marvel announced they would be releasing a Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge comic book series in order to promote the new land coming to Disneyland and Hollywood Studios in just a few short months. Recently we spotted the first comic in the series for sale at various shops around the Disney World Resort!

We spotted both the original version of the comic as well as the variant cover featuring concept art for the land from Walt Disney Imagineering (on the left). At the time of publishing this post, they are currently in stock at the Space Mountain gift shop. We’ve also seen them pop up at the Star Wars Launch Bay – Cargo Bay shop, however both versions of the comic are currently sold out at that location.

The comics retail for $3.99 each and there are expected to be five issues total leading up to the grand opening of Galaxy’s Edge and thereafter. Remember, the covers are variant editions, however each version still contains the exact same story inside. You can also get both covered at your local retailers in most cases.

Be sure to keep an eye out for these comics as they roll out around the parks because they’re selling out quickly!
