Jambo from Disney’s Animal Kingdom! It’s always a good day to spend at what is arguably the prettiest park on Walt Disney World property, so let’s get this photo report started!
Animal Kingdom is my favorite park to wander around and take in all of the smaller details, the things that make it feel like authentic, immersive, and real, which I think Animal Kingdom does better than any other park.
In Discovery Trading Company, I stumbled across a few new Walt Disney World logo tees, including this one that is the same Spirit-Jersey style tee as the collection we showed you last week, but this one has a cute little embroidered castle logo on the front.
Checking in on the progress of the upcoming Club 33 location construction, and from what I can see it looks like they’ve cleared out most of the landscaping and fake rocks that were behind this scrim.
There is still ongoing construction behind the wall in the back of the seating area of Harambe Market. I’m still going to guess that this is just going to be an extended seating area.
One of my favorite things to do at Animal Kingdom is walk the trails, and today I took a stroll around the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail. It was a good day to be on the trail, with several good views of some of the animals, including this Silverback gorilla that was out enjoying his lunch.
Checking in at Primeval Whirl, I was surprised to find that it is STILL CLOSED. This attraction has been closed since June 17th for unscheduled maintenance, and has yet to reopen. Fastpasses are also unavailable for Primeval Whirl until July 14th, but Cast Members outside the attraction stated that it could reopen any day, so keep checking back for updates.
That’s all for my day around Disney’s Animal Kingdom! Stay tuned to WDWNT for all the latest updates, and we’ll see ya real soon!
