Good day from EPCOT! We took a tour around the park this morning to see what was new.
Guests walking in to EPCOT were once again greeted by yet another newly blocked off area caused by damaged and cracked blocks of illuminated walkways in Future World.
This squirrel seemed quite interested to find what was inside everyone’s strollers outside of The Land. He was quite disappointed to find little to no food was left in them.
Inside The Land, crowds were quite nonexistent. Perhaps everyone was over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios trying to get on Rise of the Resistance?
Both the up and down escalators were broken again in The Seas with Nemo & Friends.
Divers were inside the manatee enclosure as cleaning work continued.
Hands up if you like Groot’s music choice for the EPCOT preview center!
Over at the future Starbucks location in World Showcase, we could see the logo signage had been put into place on the outside.
The sign on the side of the building is in place, as well.
Workers continued to finish up the siding and roofing work.
Behind Starbucks, we noticed these poles had been installed. Perhaps for a future dividing wall?
Painting continues to progress on the exterior of the new restrooms next to Starbucks.
Canada’s gardens were looking extra lush in this morning’s light.
Over at International Gateway, Mickey Mouse was out greeting guests.
Work continues over at the Regal Eagle Smokehouse in The American Adventure. If you stand still and close your eyes, you can almost smell the smoked meats of the future waiting for your enjoyment…
Group photos in front of the China Pavilion: does your vacation even happen if you don’t take one?
Frozen Ever After was down this morning due to technical difficulties.
Over inside the Mexico Pavilion, crowds were starting to pick up as the day went on.
Just outside, cast members worked to help clear out World Showcase Lagoon of unsightly weeds and junk.
That about wraps up our visit to EPCOT. Stay tuned to WDWNT for updates on the latest park news.
