Good morning from another rainy December morning in EPCOT. Today, we took a look at what was new in the park.

As we told you earlier this week, half the newly reimagined EPCOT entrance is complete. The new layout makes foot traffic a lot easier to navigate.

Over inside Mouse Gear, register removal continues.

Only one permanent register remains in place, while the rest are on mobile tables.

While at Mouse Gear, we saw these Belle of the Ball Bronze Mickey plush toys for $19.99.

Inside The Seas with Nemo & Friends, both escalators were back in working order this morning.

Work continued on cleaning the manatee tank, as well.

“We went to the moon, in 1969…”

“… Not 1968, but the year after.”

To many guests’ dismay, Test Track was down when we arrived in the morning. But cars were running the course.

The new Minnie Van toy cars are now available at Test Track Simporium!

Over at Walt Disney Imagineering presents the Epcot Experience, one of the speakers inside the 360 video room was blown out. This led to several parts of different scenes, including this one of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, to not be audible during the show.

Guests dining at the Electric Umbrella were given the somewhat rare opportunity to dine in the additional seating area upstairs.

While usually closed off, this area tends to open during peak times of year.

Gotta love the retro view inside, too.

At the Imagination! pavilion, right as you walk in there is now a big yellow door. This area used to just be a hallway, then it got a curtain, and now a real door!

A section of concrete by World Traveler, the gift shop at the International Gateway entrance and exit, has been torn up and surrounded by rolling hedges.

The weather over at the United Kingdom Pavilion seemed appropriately gloomy today.

In Japan, ropes were set up to form a queue in anticipation for the large crowds expected for tonight’s Candlelight Processional.

Work on Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts and Barbecue was quiet today when we stopped by, with most of the building covered in white tarp.

There has been so much rain over the last few days, these fish seemed like they were right at home over in Italy!

Winter in Florida has arrived. Though perhaps, sometimes the only way to tell is that the trees outside the Germany Pavilion loose their leaves.

Inside Die Weihnachts Ecke (The Christmas Corner), the holes in the roof above the shelving units remained.

We were quite surprised to find today that the Caramel Flight we reviewed back in October had jumped from $6.49 to $10.99.

Over in China, the handmade cotton candy was unavailable, much to the dismay of some guests.

Mulan had quite a line awaiting her arrival — well before her arrival.
