They may have to re-name themselves the Two Caballeros after this one. Earlier today during a WDWNT livestream of the World Showcase at EPCOT, we noticed that the Jose Carioca animatronic at the Gran Fiesta Tour attraction in the Mexico Pavilion was a little… shakier than usual. Well, now we have an update courtesy of MagicalNewsLIVE on Twitter of how that progressed:
In the video, Jose Carioca is seen face-down on the ground, with his colorful tail feathers up in the air. The animatronic is seen moving around along the floor of the stage as guests aboard the boats make comments like, “Someone pick him up!” and “I love when animatronics go wrong.”
Currently, the Gran Fiesta Tour is unavailable and showing as Temporarily Closed on the My Disney Experience app. We’re happy to announce that no guests or anthropomorphic parrots were harmed in the accident, and will update you once the attraction reopens at EPCOT.
Omg that’s kinda hilarious. I was on that attraction with my family yesterday and Jose was like twitching and acting so spastic that it looked like he was having seizures. My son thought he was sick.
A new meaning to the show must go in! What a dedicated performer!🦜
When you have too much to drink at the Disney food and wine fest. 🤣
Too much tequila, Jose?
Too many magaritas! :)
Me after the Florida heat.
