Greetings from around the world—World Showcase, that is! It’s been an eventful last couple of days at EPCOT with the debut of the Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival merchandise and a new Escargot dish at the France Food & Wine booth. We were excited to see what we might find today, and we were not disappointed! Let’s get started!
A new scaffolding structure popped up overnight in front of the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind construction site. We couldn’t see much more than the top of it, but we hope there’s a spaceship coming to this area very soon!
At Mouse Gear, we spotted these adorable new keychains of some of our favorite characters in Wishables form. We’ve been wanting to carry our Wishables with us as keychains for a while now, and now it looks like we finally can!
If you’re going to get a new keychain, you might as well get a new purse, right? We found these brand new Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival Dooney & Bourke bags in stock all around the park. This release is extra exciting as Disney has stopped all limited edition merchandise releases within the parks, including Dooney & Bourke bags, until now. We did notice that these bags were in every brick and mortar location that was selling Food & Wine merchandise (so not Festival Markets) plus Disney Traders. Perhaps by increasing their availability, Disney hopes to reduce the chance of groups of guests flocking to one location for the bags.
Now that you’ve got your new bag with your keychain, might as well complete the set and treat yourself to some new jewelry. This fun new Alex and Ani bangle popped up in Mouse Gear today a little late to the summertime fun pool party, but better late than never, right? This bracelet features Mickey in a flamingo pool float and retails for $49.99.
We found this nice display of Annual Passholder Food & Wine merchandise while browsing Mouse Gear. Some new Festival merchandise debuted today, including the magnet you see on the top row here.
There were magnets for all the lines of merchandise this year. We found all of them together in the new merchandise location inside World ShowPlace Event Pavilion.
Our favorite was the “Taste Your Way Around The World” magnet, showing a snack or beverage for each country on top of the silhouette of the country’s iconic building. For a look at the full collection of magnets and the full line of matching phone cases, see our article here.
There was a good stock of Limited Edition MagicBands around the park today. All three EPCOT International Flower & Garden MagicBands are still in stock and are still 30% off. The new Star Wars MagicBand featuring “The Child” is a hot seller, but was restocked around midday.
At ImageWorks, the exit shop for Journey Into Imagination With Figment, the Limited Edition EPCOT Forever MagicBands are still in stock and are going strong.
At The Seas Pavilion, we found the Turtle Talk With Crush exhibit closed today. While we originally had hope that the show would return by September, it’s now looking like the show won’t be back for while. We hope things change and we can enjoy this show soon!
Traveling around World Showcase, we found this new adult unisex shirt in the Mexico Pavilion featuring the iconic guitar from Coco. It retails for $36.99.
We went through the Norway Pavilion around midday and were surprise to see the line for Frozen Ever After at about half its usual length with a wait time of only 20 minutes. We would have jumped in that line ourselves if we could have!
Pumpkin Spice lovers rejoice— the Mozart Chocolate Cream Pumpkin Spice Liqueur has returned to the Germany Pavilion! While state restrictions prohibit selling it by the shot currently, it can be bought by the bottle for $36.
As they were earlier this week, the Alps and Spain Food & Wine booths were still closed today. We expect them to be open on the weekends when the crowd levels are higher. Like at the Islands of the Caribbean booth, the menus were removed from the board at the Spain booth.
Both popular Minnie ear headbands and the new Spirit Jersey were restocked at the France Pavilion. We are loving the aesthetic here recently!
A new sorbet flavor has come to L’Artisan Des Glaces and we couldn’t help but turn it into an ice cream martini. The new flavor is pina colada, so we made a rum martini with caramel sauce for fun. Isn’t it lovely? It was even more delicious than it looks. For more information, check out our full review here.
While taking a ride on the Skyliner, we noticed that landscaping has begun at the expansion in the France Pavilion for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. We love the little topiaries!
We had a wonderful day at EPCOT, and hope you had a good time coming along with us. Have a magical day!
I can hardly wait to ride the SkyLiner and, I hope, see Disney fireworks again some day soon.
