Weekends at the Universal Orlando Resort are always busy, and even though the park did not reach capacity today, there were plenty of guests out enjoying the beautiful weather. Let’s see what’s new around the parks.
Temperature check and security lines were long and moved pretty slowly this morning.
Once we made it to Universal Studios Florida, we found a new parade float has been parked near the entrance to the Universal Holiday Experiencing featuring Macy’s Balloons. The float features the minions from “Despicable Me” as they decorate the Christmas tree. This is a great new photo op.
The Holiday Tribute Store can personalize many things, including the retro ornaments. If you want to remember 2020, you can add the date to an ornament for just $3.
The crowds in Diagon Alley were waiting for the dragon to breathe fire.
More crowds around the park, including a very long line for the first showing of the Bourne Stuntacular.
A plexiglass barrier was added between the Coca-Cola Freestyle machines at Central Park Crepes.
We made our way over to Islands of Adventure next.
A lovely day with a beautiful view of the Jurassic World VelociCoaster.
The queue for Skull Island: Reign of Kong was changed to “at capacity” once the line stretched out beyond the entrance.
Wait times weren’t too bad for a Sunday.
Things were busy in Hogsmeade, but not nearly as bad as yesterday.
That’s all for this visit to the Universal Orlando Resort. Thanks for joining us and we’ll be back again soon with more updates. Stay tuned!
