As Disney continues to take over operations of the Morocco Pavilion in EPCOT, a new bar has opened up in the outdoor seating area next to Tangierine Cafe.
The bar is selling various champagnes and beer (plus bottled water).
There are separate carts for ordering and for picking up your drink. There is a 1 and a 2 on the ground to indicate where to go first.
There is also this set of curiously France-themed chocolates available at the counter for $7.95.
The “Explore Morocco” sign is now gone. The sign was on this pole, pointing into the pavilion with information about what’s inside. Of course, most of the inside of the pavilion is now closed.
Spice Road Table, on the other hand, has reopened under Disney management and you can read our review of the new dining experience.
The holiday market between Morocco and Japan is now exclusively selling 2021 merchandise.
And it has a handy drinks cart to the side.
How do you feel about the changes to the Morocco Pavilion? Let us know in the comments.
This makes me super sad. My favorite pavilion, where I would spend hours in the shops… now gone/disneyfied :(
All I want is a place to buy the schwarma meals !!
French chocolates make total sense – France colonized Morocco and Disney has colonized their pavilion. Checks out.
